Membership

Our membership is a monthly subscription that focuses on providing medicine aimed at root-cause resolution and includes:

  1. Up to five comprehensive medical consultations with your healthcare provider when you commit to a year with DPC Health.
  2. Analysis of your medical questionnaires to fully understand your health history, present health issues, lifestyle, and dietary habits.
  3. Conducting either a virtual or in-person physical examination, as needed. These assessments help your provider evaluate your risk factors, detect signs of nutrient deficiencies or toxicities, and offer recommendations for specialized testing and blood work.
  4. Reviewing your tailored health plan with you, discussing the outcomes of your tests, monitoring your progress, and collaborating with you to fine-tune your plan to enhance your wellbeing.
  5. Providing a centralized healthcare experience that covers everything from managing chronic conditions and preventive care to supportive messaging for minor ailments like colds, directing members to urgent or acute care when required. Additionally, we coordinate with specialists and other healthcare providers as necessary, manage prescription refills, and maintain a comprehensive record of your medical history. Learn more about DPC Health’s virtual primary care here.
  6. Up to five sessions with your health coach to tackle recommended lifestyle modifications, establish achievable goals, and modify your health strategy based on your responses to changes.
  7. A customized health plan that focuses on your lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and mental health.
  8. Access to advanced diagnostic tests for hormones, genetics, exposure to toxins, and more.
  9. Easy online booking to accommodate your schedule.
  10. Unlimited communication with your medical team through your My DPC Health portal, ensuring you remain connected between visits.
  11. A single, convenient location for all your prescription medications and supplements, eliminating the need to follow up with multiple providers.
  12. All lab tests will incur additional charges.

There are certain costs that are not covered by your membership and might lead to additional out-of-pocket expenses:

  • Lab tests: While many tests may be partially or fully covered by insurance, others might necessitate a copay or may not be covered at all. Specialty tests, such as those analyzing stool, urine, and saliva, are not included in your membership.
  • Health care services not detailed in the plan, such as vaccinations, urgent care, MRIs, etc.
  • Non-medical services recommended by DPC, including acupuncture, fitness classes, and both prescription and over-the-counter medications and supplements.

You can pay for the year to save, an annual membership is $2,717 upfront, which saves you $247—meaning you get one month free. Or you can pay monthly for $247 ($2,964/annually).

Once you exceed a dosage of 1mg, the price will increase by $100 per month.

As a member, you benefit from unlimited messaging with your medical team, which includes your medical provider, health coach, and a care manager. Although you can message them anytime, we strongly recommend scheduling a medical visit for in-depth discussions with your medical provider. You can reach out to your medical team via your DPC Portal whenever you have questions in between visits or need to provide updates on your treatment responses. Typically, you should expect a response within 24-48 hours, often sooner.

You’ll get a fresh set of medical and health coach visits to use for the year on your plan’s anniversary date. For members paying upfront, the plan will automatically renew after one year. Members paying monthly will continue to be auto-charged monthly.

Lab Testing

At DPC, we recognize that traditional healthcare often offers limited testing options. Your Care Team, equipped with a deep understanding of your health, will recommend advanced specialty tests tailored to uncover the root causes of your symptoms. This comprehensive approach helps them design a holistic health plan customized to your individual needs and goals.

During your initial visit, you and your doctor will discuss your health goals and review appropriate testing options, which may include a combination of blood work and advanced specialty testing. It’s advisable to complete any recommended blood work at least two weeks prior to your follow-up visit to ensure the results are available for discussion.

For any queries about the testing process or specific recommendations from your doctor, please contact your care manager via your My Health portal.

All testing is conducted at an additional cost, not covered under your DPC membership. Based on your initial 60-minute consultation, your doctor will suggest a personalized testing plan, considering your health history, current concerns, and goals. This plan may involve:

Blood work: Analysing essential nutrients, thyroid function, cardiovascular health, metabolic functions, inflammatory markers, hormones, and more.

You can complete your testing at any lab within the networks of LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics, which are widely available across the US.

We automatically receive the results when they are ready from the labs.

Testing orders, including blood work and specialty tests, are only placed after establishing care with your DPC doctor. Testing should not be ordered or completed before your initial consultation. Your doctor will recommend when to undertake these tests, usually during follow-up visits, based on your ongoing progress and health goals.

Most blood work results are returned within 10-14 business days, although timing for specialty tests may vary. Please consider this timeline when scheduling follow-up appointments to avoid the need for rescheduling. Results from any lab tests ordered by your clinician are automatically sent to us via our secure online portal.

If you opt to do blood work through your primary care provider (PCP), you can directly upload these results to My Health portal or ask your medical team to request them from your PCP’s office.

Virtual & In-Person Visits

DPC currently operates in Orlando, and if you reside in this area, you have the option to choose between in-person appointments at our center or virtual consultations. Members located elsewhere in the United States can still sign up for our services and receive care entirely online through video visits with their doctor and health coach. The quality of care is consistent, whether online or in-person, but the mode of communication may differ based on your location:

  • If you live near our center in Orlando, you can opt for in-person appointments.
  • If you are not local or prefer the convenience of virtual care, you can communicate with your Care Team via secure video calls on your phone, tablet, or computer.

You are welcome to visit us at our center in Orlando for in-person consultations.

After you fill out your medical intake forms, our team will arrange a telehealth appointment for you with your provider. This appointment will involve a two-way audiovisual session on our telehealth system.

Our team assigns providers based on state licensing requirements and provider availability. You will receive your assigned provider’s profile prior to your appointment. If you wish to change providers for any reason, our team will accommodate your request and schedule an appointment with another provider.
